Definitions:
For these Terms and Conditions, the term “Stay” refers to any accommodation services booked through One Root Journey. The term “Journey” refers to any tour services booked through One Root Journey, including single- and multi-day itineraries.
How to Make a Booking with One Root Journey:
To book a Stay or Journey with One Root Journey, fill out the 'Contact Us' or 'Book a Journey' form on our website, or email us at support@onerootjourney.com. Our team will contact you to confirm your booking and help arrange your travel plans.
How to Confirm Your Booking:

For a Stay, a confirmation email must be received from One Root Journey.

For a Journey, a 50% deposit of the total booking cost is required to confirm.

Final payment is due before the journey commences or upon arrival.
Payment Methods:
Payments can be made by:

Bank wire transfer (payer responsible for transfer charges)

VISA/Mastercard payment (no processing fees charged)
Booking Cancellation & Cancellation Charges:
Written notice is required for any cancellations, sent to support@onerootjourney.com
Deposits are partially refundable depending on the notice period:
- A 20% non-refundable fee applies if canceled more than 90 days before the trip start.
- No refunds for cancellations made less than 30 days before departure.
Refund Policy:
No partial refunds for unused accommodations, unfinished meals, or missed activities. No credits issued for unused services.
Guest Responsibilities:
Guests must understand the Journey itinerary and respect local customs. Disruptive or dangerous behavior may result in removal at the guest’s expense. Adequate travel insurance covering health, accidents, and evacuation is required.
One Root Journey Responsibilities:
We arrange tours with trusted suppliers but are not responsible for independent contractor actions. We are not liable for personal losses, delays, or injuries due to causes outside our control (e.g., natural disasters, political events). We reserve the right to adjust itineraries for safety and travel conditions.
Special Requests:
Guests with special requests (dietary needs, private services) must notify us at least 30 days before departure. We will do our best to accommodate, but we cannot guarantee all special requests.
Meals:
Meals are included as specified in your Journey package. Dietary restrictions must be communicated in advance.
Single Supplement:
Single accommodations may be available with an additional charge. Requests must be made at the time of booking.
Tips and Taxes:
Tips are optional and left to the guest’s discretion. All service charges and government taxes in Mongolia are included in package prices unless stated otherwise.
